Earlier this month, we were asked by one of our regular customers (a local private school) to provide a permanent lighting rig for their new Assembly Hall.
Having hired the same rig several times from TPT we came to the conclusion that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Having agreed the requirements of the venue, we specced and supplied the very same lighting rig previously hired from TPT.

The rig consisted of 10 LEDJ Slimline 7Q5 RGBA LED Pars on Global Truss half coupler clamps, Power & Data cables and a simple and easy to use DMX Lighting Controller all supplied from our long standing friends at Prolight Concepts Group!
We recommended the slimline pars due to the limited rigging capacity of the lighting bars, and also the limited overhang of the lighting bars with aprox 10cm between the guard rail, and the lighting bar.

Due to a misunderstanding at the time of build (Before our involvement), this new venue had the incorrect data cabling routed to the lighting bars. Those cables are perminently installed in the building and not changable at this time so we coiled them tidily and left them be. To get around this, the decision was made to install 4 Wireless DMX Transcievers (One for each bar, and one at the control desk) to ensure a neat and tidy, reliable control solution was implemented.
All units have been labeled with their ‘House Address’ to aid with re-addressing should they be adjusted by mistake or by others, to allow the system to be restored to full functionality with minimal effort.
